Cambodia Book Publishing Commission 2022 Accelerates Work Before the ASEAN Summit

PHNOM PENH: The publishing of 'Cambodia Book 2022' will be expedited to be ready for distribution to leaders and international guests attending the ASEAN Summit and other related meetings hosted by Cambodia in Phnom Penh in November 2022.

At the meeting of the Organizing Committee for the Book Publishing of Cambodia 2022, held on Tuesday morning, the Minister of Information, Khieu Kanharith, recommended the review of the content, spelling of Khmer text and photos to be posted of the Cambodia Book 2022, to ensure that everything is correct.

Cambodia Book 2022 or 'Looking to the Kingdom of Wonder' will be between 130 to 140 pages long and will be published and translated into English, French and Chinese.

This book is intended to showcase, to national and international media, Cambodia's politics, culture, traditions and ways of life. In addition, Minister Khieu Kanharith asked the team behind the writing and publishing of the book to include another new historical event - Prime Minister Hun Sen receiving the 2022 Sunhak Peace Prize in Seoul, South Korea on 12 February 2022.

The meeting reviewed the titles of over 300 photos taken by international photographer Patrick Dupire (author and media consultant), as well as other talented Cambodian photographers, with the guidance of Minister Khieu Kanharith.
